Make Your Own Almond Butter - Home Made Recipe (Healthy Food, Healthy Eating, Healthy Snack)



You see people talking about making their own almond butter and you think "Whoa! I can never do that!" Fact is that making your own home made almond butter is way easier than you think.


Ingredients:
Almonds, 4 Cups

Here's how to make this super yummy and healthy almond butter…


Recipe Yields: 1 1/2 Cups of almond butter.

Recipe:

  • Place all 4 cups of almonds into your food processor and turn it on.
  • Almonds will start to look powderish like crushed almonds, don't give up, keep going. It takes about 15 minutes to turn the almonds into this creamy yummy goodness, so don't give up and make sure your food processor can handle this kind of work, you don't want to end up with a burned motor.
  • When the almonds finally turn into a gorgeous creamy/buttery consistency, take a spoonful to celebrate your victory!
  • Empty the almond butter in an airtight container and keep in the fridge (it stays good for months).
Tip: If you use freshly roasted almonds right out of the oven it is easier to turn them into almond butter. Fresh almonds take a longer time to reach this fine consistency.
